Lake Charles, La – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run that occurred the morning of Sunday, May 7 in a casino parking lot located on Highway 397 in Lake Charles.   

During the initial investigation detectives learned a car, possibly a 2001-2007 Ford Taurus, was backing up and struck a parked car. 

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives attempted to locate the car but have been unsuccessful.  They are asking anyone who can identify the car seen in the photographs, or anyone with information related to the case to contact CPSO at (337) 491-3846 and reference case number 23-51267.
