The Georgia Department of Driver Services has issued an unusual reminder for residents using the state's new digital driver's licenses and IDs. The Department put out a Facebook post urging people to be more mindful of how they dressed for the pictures. "Please take pictures with your clothes on when submitting them for your Digital Driver’s License and IDs. Let's raise our virtual glasses and toast to the future Cheers to technology and keeping things classy!", Georgia Department of Driver Services. This comes after Georgia became one of only eight states to offer digitized state IDs. The digital ID (currently only available to Apple users) allows verification at select airport TSA checkpoints. According to the Georgia Department of Driver Services, there are plans to roll out the digital ID for other phone users as well.
