The Southeastern Conference’s athletic directors approved a plan to conduct the upcoming college baseball season in a normal fashion, with no change to the conference schedule, according to D1 Baseball's Kendall Rogers. Rogers also reported that the ADs voted to increase the travel roster size for its conference members from 27 to 30, ostensibly to help account for possible positive coronavirus tests.

A few weeks ago, LSU head coach Paul Mainieri mentioned there were talks within the league about going to a four-game weekend during conference play. The idea, apparently, was not embraced by the athletic directors.

LSU will open its season by hosting Notre Dame on Friday, Feb. 19.
