Saints defeat the Titans 38-28

After a shaky start offensively the Saints found their selves down in a 14-0 hole but once they got rolling they never looked back. They would then bring a 24-0 scoring run into the third quarter.

Drew Brees was 27-38 for 279 yards and 3 Touchdowns. Running back Alvin Kamara had 11 carries fro 80 yards with 2 Touchdowns to his count. Should we begin to talk about Michael Thomas? We may not have enough characters for that... Thomas had 12 catches for 136 yards and a Touchdown. He now has the NFL All-Time record of receptions in a single season with 145. Thomas passed former Colts receiver Marvin Harrison who had 143 receptions in 2002. A record that stood for 17 years is no more.

Saints fans will now need to root for the Vikings on Monday Night Football against the Packers in order to try and clinch the 1 seed in the NFC Playoffs.

FINAL from Nashville, Tennessee
