Almost 2 years ago, a midnight fight at a park in DeRidder left a teen paralyzed after being shot.
The second trial in the 2017 Labor Day shooting ended yesterday. Tarik “Snoop” Njoku of Leesville was found guilt of aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
In March, Jaron Williams was found guilty of one count attempted murder and one count criminal conspiracy to commit attempted murder. Samuel Miller, Jusahawn Flammings and Larry Williams III were also arrested for their part in the fight and the shooting.
Miller opted to testify in exchange for a plea of guilty to obstruction of justice and receive time served after spending almost 2 years in prison.
Sentencing for Tarik "Snoop" Njoku will be done at a later date.
