Sabine Parish Sheriff Aaron Mitchell announces the discovery of a stolen RV on Toledo Bend Lake.

The National Insurance Crime Bureau contacted the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s CID and stated the RV was stolen from Harrison County, Texas and was at Jolly Roger Marina on the north end of the lake.

The RV was a 2009 Puma 31’ bumper-pull with two slide-outs valued at $40,000. Deputies and Detectives went to the Marina and located the RV and verified the identifying information.

Cathy Sue Ebert (46, Converse) was eventually located and had been living in the RV. Ebert told investigators she purchased the RV over a year ago for $800.

Harrison County

Sheriff’s Office was informed that the stolen RV had been recovered and it would be stored at the Sabine Parish Detention Center.

Ebert was arrested and booked for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things (Felony).
