In June 2020, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Metro Narcotics Agents received complaints of suspected narcotics activity at 5819 Caroline Drive in Alexandria, LA. The investigation revealed sufficient probable cause supporting the initial complaints and on June 24, a search warrant was executed at that address.

At that time Agents made contact with the residents Dominick Trakel Kelly, 31, and Silvia Annette Kelley, 50.

Agents located Hydrocodone pills, suspected Methamphetamine, suspected Fentanyl, Marijuana, and THC cartridges. Also discovered during the search were digital scales, packaging material, $778.00 in cash, and three firearms, commonly used in the distribution of illegal drugs.

Silvia was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center in reference One Count - Possession of C.D.S. II with intent to Distribute, One Count - Possession of a Firearm with narcotics, One Count - Possession of Narcotics in the Presence of a minor, and One Count - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Silvia was released the following day after posting an $11,000.00 bond.

Dominick was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center in reference Two Counts - Possession of C.D.S. I with intent to Distribute, Two Counts - Possession of C.D.S. II with intent to Distribute, One Count - Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, One Count - Possession of Narcotics in the Presence of a minor, One Count - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and One Count - Possession of a Firearm with narcotics. Dominick was later booked by representatives of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Correction Division of Probation and Parole in reference to a Probation Violation.

Dominick is currently being held without bond at the Detention Center in reference to the Probation Violation, as well as in lieu of posting a $37,000.00 bond.
