On April 29, 2020, Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to take a report of criminal sexual conduct involving juveniles in the Glenmora area.

Deputies took the initial report and Detectives assigned to the Glenmora Substation initiated an investigation identifying Jaime Rubio, 23, of Pitkin as a suspect.

The investigation, which included interviews of the victims at the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center, found sufficient probable cause that supported the original allegations. Warrants were granted for Rubio’s arrest in reference to Indecent Behavior with Juveniles and Computer-Aided Solicitation of Minors.

Rubio was taken into custody on May 12, 2020, and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Rubio was released later the same day after posting a $5,000.00 bond relating to the sexually based crimes.
