Oakdale, La - On Wednesday morning at approximately 10:00 am, the Oakdale Police Department Officers and Allen Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call in reference to a theft on Whatley RoadÂ
Officers arrived on scene and began their investigation.Â
Upon initial investigation and by following up on leads found at the scene, Officers were able to obtain a search warrant for a residence on Forest Drive in Oakdale.Â
Upon execution of the warrant officers were able to recover the stolen items along with a quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, guns, and cocaine.
As a result of the recovered stolen items and drugs, the following individuals were taken into custody:
Harvey Paul III of Glenmora was arrested and charged with Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Possession of CDS Schedule 1, Possession of CDS schedule II, Manufacture, Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS Schedule I, Illegal carrying of weapons, and Simple criminal damage to property. At this time no bond has been set.Â
Thomas Oquinn Jr. , of Oakdale was arrested and charged with Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Possession of CDS schedule II, Possession of CDS Schedule 1, Manufacture, Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS Schedule I, Possession of a firearm with CDS, and Simple criminal damage to property. Bond for Oquinn has been set at $223,500.
This is still an active investigation and further charges are pending.Â
