The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office reports that they and the LA Department of Wildlife and Fisheries are working together to investigate the illegal dumping of over 100 tires in the Spanish Lake community in west Natchitoches Parish.

On May 2, 2019, a complaint was made to the sheriff's office that over 145 automotive tires had been dumped in two different locations – Lake Cemetery Road near the St. Ann Cemetery and near the intersection of Lake Cemetery Road and Allen-Marthaville Road, near Allen, LA.

Since that time, LDWF Agents have been investigating the complaint attempting to gather information into suspects involved in the illegal dumping. A vehicle believed to be involved in the dumping is reportedly a silver Ford crew-cab pickup truck that was pulling a trailer.

If you have any information please contact Sgt. Joey Melton with LDWF at 318-508-2767, Agent Charley Hawkes with LDWF at 318-730-0399 or the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office at 352-6432.
