Just before 8:15 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2020, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office Deputies clocked at black Nissan Altima with Purple Hearts Tags speeding at 115 mph in a 75 mph zone.

The driver failed to stop and led deputies on a 22-mile pursuit, crashed the vehicle near the Ajax, LA exit and then fled from the scene. It was learned the vehicle had been reported stolen from Slidell, LA. A weapon was in the vehicle at the time of the theft.

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office Deputies describe the suspect as a black male with medium length dreads, the suspect is wearing a black shirt or coat. Assisting in the search is Louisiana State Police, DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office and the Winn Parish Tracking Team.

The Sheriff's Department has asked residents and those traveling in the area not to approach the suspect, but to contact them.
