The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry have arrested Gerald W. Neely of Merryville, LA following the complaint of several wood fires near Division Street in Merryville.

Neely is accused of intentionally setting a wooded area on fire in Beauregard Parish.

Neely was arrested, charged with 1 count of arson, and booked into the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Detention Center on July 16, 2019.

Bond was set at $5,000. Neely bonded out on August 5, 2019.
