On Tuesday, August 27, 2019, Louisiana State Police booked a former State Probation and Parole officer with felony malfeasance in office; sexual conduct prohibited.

Through a tip, and internal investigation, State Probation and Parole Investigators determined Corey Quebedeaux (43) of 195 Decker Road, DeRidder, Louisiana, had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a parolee he supervised.This investigation by the Department of Public Safety and Correction's Office of Probation and Parole began in May and was turned over to the Louisiana State Police this summer.

Quebedeaux had been a Probation and Parole officer with the Leesville District since August 1, 2016. He resigned prior to his arrest.

Quebedeaux was booked into the Vernon Parish Detention Center. Online records show the Quebedeaux has already bonded out.
