Service must end at 10:00 p.m. and patrons must leave the bar by 11:00 p.m.
Other social events may take place with 50% capacity, no more the 250 people including outdoor events.
Casinos may open at 50% capacity with 75% of the gaming location open.
In all locations, the on-going mandates apply: masks must be worn in public places, social distancing of 6' from those who are not part of your immediate household, those at risk should recognize that staying home is the safest place to be.
This will last 28 days until October 9, however, now that the State has reached Phase 3 there isn't anywhere to move forward to, until the pandemic is over.
Louisiana Department of Health is working on program to allow visitation in nursing homes with outdoor visitation available. More details will be released soon.
Lastly, Gov. Edwards pointed to atmospheric activity over the Atlantic Ocean. There is a storm just off of Florida that is increasing in projections to develop into a tropical storm. Several models indicate it could reach the eastern coast of Louisiana by Monday or Tuesday.
The next press conference will be Monday afternoon.
