Beauregard Parish School Board issued a formal statement regarding the reopening of school.

Faculty and staff will return to schools on Monday, September 21, 2020.

All students will have virtual learning beginning Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

On site students will return to class on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Families who wish for virtual students to return to campus full time should contact their schools next week.

Face coverings will still be required as well as other Phase III guidelines which include:

frequent hand-washing,

social distancing,

temperature checks, and

frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces.

There are 29 hot-spots set up across the parish for students to access assignments for the virtual learning and to interact with their teachers.

The Central Office administration is working with the Louisiana Department of Education concerning time recovery for our schools and will be making up days throughout the school year with as little disruption in the school calendar as possible. The first make-up day will be Friday, October 9, 2020, as the Beauregard Parish fair has been canceled.
