Nolan Wilder, 28, of Anacoco,LA, was arrested Wednesday, June 24, 2020, following the criminal investigation into the theft of a hearse from Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, LA on June 19, 2020.

During an interview, Wilder admitted to taking the hearse and driving to Texas, then returning to Anacoco where the vehicle was found abandoned. Wilder also admitted he removed decorative accessories from the vehicle in order to change it's appearance.

Nolan Wilder was charged with 1 count theft of a motor vehicle, 1 count of criminal damage to property and 1 count of criminal trespassing. Bond was set at $37,000.00. Wilder remains in the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Jail.
