Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.

March 24, 2023

Bradley Dakota Jeane, age 19, of Evans, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Damage to Property. Bond was set at $ 2500.00. Jeane posted bond and was released.

March 25, 2023

George Denby Jr., age 59, of Rosepine, was arrested and charged with four counts of Criminal Trespassing, one count of Resisting an Officer, one count of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Aggravated Assault upon a Peace Officer. Bond has not been set and Deby remains in the VPSO jail.

March 26, 2023

Daulton Michael Andrews, age 26, of Leesville, was arrested and booked into the VPSO jail on two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and one count of Criminal Conspiracy. Bond was set at

$1,000,100,000.00. Andrews remains in the VPSO jail.

Miguel Zarate Guajardo, age 18, of Rosepine, was arrested and charged with one count of Criminal Conspiracy, and two counts of Principal to Attempted First Degree Murder. Bond was set at $ 150,000.00. Guajardo remains in the VPSO jail.

Harley Ray Stephens, age 41, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment and one count of Criminal Trespassing. Bond has not been set and Stephens remains in the VPSO jail.

March 27, 2023

Xavier Marquis Bryant, age 29, of DeRidder, was arrested on an out of jurisdiction Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Bryant remains in the VPSO jail awaiting extradition.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
