Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office announces recent arrests made by VPSO.
 
January 17, 2023
 
Jody Balach, age 41, of Leesville, was arrested by Agents with the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force.
Agents charged Balach with one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic (Methamphetamine) and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $ 11,561.00. Balach remains in the VPSO jail.
 
Ashley Michelle Nolen, age 31, of Pitkin, was arrested and charged with one count of Disturbing the Peace and one count of Entry on or remaining on land or in place where forbidden. Bond was set at $3331.00. Nolen posted bond and was released.
 
Angel Jonathan Espinal, age 30, of Red Oak, Texas, was arrested and charged with one count of Theft. Bond was set at $ 10,000.00. Espinal posted bond and was released.
 
January 18, 2023
 
Isaac McKay Mitchell, age 38, of Anacoco, was arrested on three outstanding Bench Warrants. Bond has not been set and Mitchell remains in the VPSO jail.
 
January 19, 2023
 
Ricky John Ashworth, age 28, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Mischief, two counts of Criminal Trespass, one count of Theft over $ 1500, one count of Theft, one count of Criminal Damage to Property, one count of Theft of a Firearm, one count of Simple Burglary, one count of Aggravated Burglary, and one count of Possession of a firearm or carrying of a concealed weapon by a felon. Bond has not been set and Ashworth remains in the VPSO jail.
 
Vanessa Renteria Molina, age 40, of Hornbeck, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Molina remains in the VPSO jail.
 
James Gregory Danzy, age 58, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Switched Plates, one count of Failure to register vehicle, one count of No Vehicle Insurance, and one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic (Methamphetamine). Bond has not been set and Danzy remains in the VPSO jail.
 
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
