SHREVEPORT, La. -Firefighters in Shreveport battled a blaze Sunday morning that left two people without a home.

The fire happened around 5:09 a.m. in the 3100 block of Regent Street.

Two people escaped the home before it was fully engulfed in flames. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to contain the fire. 

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
