Scenes from Wolf Rock Cave off La. 10 in Vernon Parish, near Fort Polk. According to the Vernon Parish Tourist Commission, Wolf Rock is located in the Vernon Unit of the Calcasieu Ranger District of the Kisatchie National Forest. Archaeological evidence shows that primitive peoples once used the cave as a habitation. Access to the area is very primitive, so visitors should dress appropriately for walking in the forest.
